What is HEIC to JPG Converter?

HEIC is Apple's implementation of the HEIF container format (High Efficiency Image File), and since iOS 11 every iPhone photo you shoot is stored this way. Inside that container the picture itself is compressed with HEVC — also called H.265 — a modern video codec that preserves a striking amount of detail per byte.
